The Scottish Whisky and Wine Auction

The Scottish Countryside Alliance Wine and Whisky Auction evening will be held at Mansfield Traquair in Edinburgh on Tuesday, 26th November, 2013.

The Scottish Countryside Alliance Wine and Whisky Auction evening will be held at Mansfield Traquair in Edinburgh on Tuesday, 26th November, 2013. Up to 200 guests will be attending a Champagne reception and Dinner along with an auction of around 40 lots consisting of Rare and Interesting Wines and Whisky along with art and shooting days, with proceeds going to help fund the SCA's Pathway project Routes to Rural Employment (R2RE).

The 26th November, 2013 will be a significant date for many reasons, including the launch of our new Rural Manifesto and the very first step in funding our essential Routes to Rural Employment (R2RE). As Founding Patrons, our supporters will be part of an initiative that will prove fundamental in changing attitudes about the Countryside across the spectrum. Educating the young and supporting them throughout the initial part of their life, allowing them to make informed choices about the Countryside, regardless of their background, will mean closer co-operation and interaction with all communities, urban and rural. You will be amongst the first to recognise and support this initiative and rightly take great pride in helping to fundamentally address the lack of informed decisions and attitudes held amongst many in Scotland today.
