Braidwood Sporting Clays host’s the first Scottish Countryside Alliance Ladies day of 2013

Braidwood Sporting Clays host’s the first Scottish Countryside Alliance Ladies day of 2013.

A group of ladies of mixed shooting abilities enjoyed an action packed day at the Braidwood Sporting Clay ground. Working in small groups those, who had never shot before were breaking their first clays confidently having been well tutored in the basic skills involved by their instructors for the day.  The more experienced shots were offered helpful advice on how to get more out of their shooting and raise their game!  The day finished with a presentation from SCA Director for Scotland Jamie Stewart who explained the relationship between the cartridge, the gun and the shooter required to achieve success and emphasised the need to be safe even when having fun.

The ground stocks a range of shooting clothing and has a modern clubhouse with café.  For more details about our Ladies Training Days, please phone Jamie Stewart on 01890 818554 or e-mail [email protected]
