All members of the Countryside Alliance London Marathon team completed Sunday's race (24 April), and have so far raised an amazing £16,483.91 for our charities, Fishing 4 Schools, Falconry for Schools and Casting for Recovery UK and Ireland.
Fastest round the course was financial planner Thomas Eyles, who ran the 26 miles in just 3hrs 20mins. The other runners' times were: Penny Middleton-Burn – 4hrs 37mins; Phoebe Taylor - 4hrs 44mins; Emma Larminie, Rachael Ward and Mark Simpson, all 4hrs 51 mins; Eleanor Martin - 5hrs 7mins and Sophie Dale – 5hrs 40mins. A big thank you to them all.
A special mention has to go to Mark Simpson, who has now raised a whopping £6,956.80 for The Countryside Alliance Foundation – a fantastic effort!
