A successful Midland Game Fair for the CA

The Countryside Alliance enjoyed an extremely successful Midland Game Fair at Weston Park, Shropshire at the weekend (16-17 September), meeting and talking to many returning members and supporters, whilst welcoming numerous new members to the organisation. The two-day show, which entices tens of thousands of attendees, was once again a fantastic showcase for all country sports. The Working Clumber Spaniel Society and the National Working Terrier Federation proved a strong draw to the Countryside Alliance stand and we thank them for their continued support.

The main topic of conversation from members included the recent National Trust motion to ban trail hunting on their land and the EU consultation on the continued use of lead ammunition, work on which continues back in the office!
