All sectors involved in rearing animals are under pressure to reduce antibiotic use. The game rearing industry has been particularly successful at achieving this. Figures released this week reveal that there has been a 70% reduction in overall antibiotic use since 2016, and 2020 saw a 42% reduction on the previous year.
