This year's Cheltenham Countryside Day (Friday November 15) raises much-needed funds to send Equestrian Team GBR to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, as well as supporting the work of the Countryside Alliance, and top riders, trainers, artists and supporters have donated exclusive lots to the auction that are running now.
Top lots for the keen rider include, a morning on the yard and lunch with William and Alice Fox-Pitt, a private lesson from Piggy French, visits to Carl Hester and Charlotte Dujardin's and Laura Tomlinson's yards, or the opportunity to have dinner for eight at Cirencester Park, cooked by Alice and William Fox-Pitt and served by Spencer Wilton and Ben Mayer. You can also bid to have a box at the Royal International Horse Show or Olympia and a season pass for Badminton Horse Trials or membership of Burghley Horse Trials with a drive around and guide to the course by Capt Mark Phillips.
Racing fans can bid on behind the scenes visits to yards and gallops, including those of Paul Nicholls, Nicky Henderson and Venetia Williams, tickets to the Punchestown Festival and a box at Cheltenham on New Year's Day – among many other lots.
Days hunting with the Beaufort, D&S Staghounds, the Ledbury and the Portman and others are on offer plus a Fairfax and Favor bag, a Daniel Crane hunting print and much, much more.
To place your bids, go to the auction website here. Bidding is open until Friday November 15 and some lots will be auctioned live on the day.
