CA shocked at shooting omission from the commonwealth games

The Countryside Alliance is deeply disappointed at the news that all shooting sports are to be excluded from the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games. Shooting has taken part at every Commonwealth Games since 1970, and this shock move by organisers will undoubtedly leave hundreds of professional competitors from around the world angry and hurt. Whilst shooting is particularly competitive in the UK it also offers huge potential for smaller nations that focus on shooting sports.

The Countryside Alliance will be working hard to convince the organisers to reconsider their shortsighted decision.
