Falconry for Schools spreads its wings in different counties

2014 has been a productive year for the Foundation's Falconry for Schools programme with schools in Yorkshire, Hampshire and Cornwall getting involved in the programme. Feedback has been positive and children are thrilled to come into close contact with the beautiful birds. Sharon Bindon is a Falconry for Schools Instructor in Cornwall and recently visited Roseland College. Their comments on the programme speak for themselves:

"As we near the end of the school year I would just like to say a huge thank you to you and all your beautiful birds for coming in to Roseland College and delivering your most enjoyable and interesting lessons on Falconry and for letting us get so up close to the birds, what a memory for all the students to keep.
The lessons were very well structured and the resources excellent, all very organised and straightforward to follow. I know the students have benefited from the two days you have been with us……."
