We would like to say a huge thank you to all of those who entered our 'Field of Dreams' photography competition, it has been our most popular yet and each time the standard gets higher. With over 700 entries it made a very tough decision and after lots of deliberation we have finally chosen a winner.
Congratulations to the winner David Stearne for his wonderful photograph of Bockhill Farm that runs along the tops of the white cliffs at St. Margaret's at Cliffe, near the Channel Port of Dover. David's photograph will be featured on a double page spread in the Autumn edition of our My Countryside magazine and he has won himself a Harkila Westfield Jacket (RRP £250), Grove GTX Boots (£150) and a Glenmore Pullover (RRP £99.99).
Winner: David Stearne
It was just as hard to decide a runner up among so many amazing entries. However, we thought this entry really captured the theme 'Field of Dreams'. Congratulations to our runner up Stephen Brown. His image 'Linseed is closer to God' was taken at St Andrews church at Kiln Pit Hill in south Northumberland. The church is surrounded by land farmed under a Conservation Agriculture system. Stephens photograph will be featured on the contents page in My Countryside magazine.
Runner up: Stephen Brown
Once again thank you all for entering. Keep your eyes peeled on our website and social channels for the next photography competition and who knows, it could be you seeing your photograph in the next edition of the magazine.
