The Aylsham Agricultural Show Association presented a generous donation of £500 to Fishing 4 Schools Eastern Region chairman Sally Acloque, at an informal reception held at the Aylsham Lodge Hotel on 17 January 2017.

Fishing 4 Schools started in 2008 and offers young people the opportunity to discover the joy of fishing, whilst learning new skills in a fun and proactive way.

It is delivered by the Countryside Alliance Foundation and world famous angler Charles Jardine, and to date over 2,000 students have benefited from Fishing 4 Schools.

Fighing 4 Schools was one of the nearly 40 recipients who received grants from show president, Simon Evans.

Sally said: "We are honored to receive this grant which will be used for the work of Fishing 4 Schools in Norfolk; pupils from Aylsham School attended our Open Day at Lenwade in 2015."

You can find out more about our Fishing 4 Schools project at the Aylsham Agricultural Show on 28 August 2017 where our two Fishing 4 Schools instructors, Mike Smith and Jim Gill, of Strictly Fly Fishing, will be demonstrating.
