Fishing 4 Schools fun day in South Yorkshire

Fishing 4 Schools is hosting a family open day at Phoenix and Parkgate Angling Club, Ravensfield Ponds, near Rotherham, South Yorkshire on Sunday 27 July, and children and their parents are invited to come along and have a go.

The day, starting at 10am, includes expert fishing instruction with the resident coaches in how to fish on lakes with wagglers and pole, as well as learn how to tie artificial flies, fly casting instruction and demonstrations of how to fillet and cook fish.

Admission is £5 per child, adults go free, and there will be a free barbecue and fishing goodie bag for each child.
