The Countryside Alliance is very pleased to be supporting the Great Get Together on 17-18 June 2017 in memory of murdered MP Jo Cox.
This summer, the Jo Cox Foundation is organising what is hoped to be the biggest street party since the Diamond Jubilee.
It is called 'The Great Get Together', and we would love you to be a part of it. One year after Jo Cox MP was killed, millions of people across the country will get together with their neighbours to share food and celebrate all that we have in common.
Your event could be big or small, indoors or out – it's entirely up to you. It could be a street party, a barbecue, a picnic, a bake off, or something else completely. Whatever you decide, you will be part of a huge national occasion.
Some incredible people are already planning what to do, most of them are in communities like yours. The whole country is getting behind the idea.
How to get involved?
Visit the Great Get Together website and register your event today. Or download the event leaflet and share with your neighbours.
You can take the lead and organise your own event or attend an event in your local area. The Great Get Together will send you all the material you need to get together with your neighbours.
