#GivingTuesday has arrived – your support could make a real difference!

#GivingTuesday has arrived and this is your opportunity to do good for the charities close to your heart.

We couldn't do what we do without the fundraising efforts of our generous supporters. So, for #GivingTuesday we have put together a few ideas and practical advice on how you can support the Countryside Alliance Foundation.

Raise money through Amazon Smile

AmazonSmile is operated by Amazon with the same products, prices, and shopping features. The difference is that when you shop on AmazonSmile, the AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the purchase price of eligible products to the charity of your choice.

The Countryside Alliance Foundation is a registered charity of AmazonSmile and you can choose for us to benefit from donations by searching 'Countryside Alliance Website' on the AmazonSmile website.

Donate through PayPal

On #GivingTuesday (27th November 2018), PayPal are doubling donations made through it's platform pound for pound. You give what you can and PayPal will match it to a maximum of £50,000!

Raise money through Facebook

Countryside Alliance Foundation projects Fishing for Schools and Falconry for Schools are registered charities on Facebook. You can now create a fundraiser in support of Fishing for Schools or Falconry for Schools by following the steps below.

To create a fundraiser for a charity click here or follow these steps:

1. Click Fundraisers in the left menu of your News Feed
2. Click Raise Money
3. Select Nonprofit/Charity
4. Select a charity, choose a cover photo and fill in the fundraiser details
5. Click Create

Hold a collection

Collections are a fantastic way to raise much-needed funds for the Countryside Alliance Foundation, while helping to raise awareness with the general public about our cause.

If you would like to organise your own collection at your place of work, school or in a public place, please contact us and we can provide all the guidelines you need to follow, plus a collection bucket if neccessary. Email [email protected] or call 020 7840 9270 to find out more.

Fundraising ideas

You can easily raise much-needed funds for the Countryside Alliance Foundation from your workplace or school. Below are some fun ideas you can organise with friends or colleagues and help us grow long into the future.

• Hold a cake sale or bake off at your place of work
• Organise a fish-athon one weekend and ask your friends to join in for a set period of time
• Fishing or Falconry themed fancy dress
• Non-uniform day at school
• Organise a fishing or falconry quiz and test your friends general knowledge
• Sponsored lunch with delicious fish filled sandwiches
