Great British Game Week (24-30 November) has been heralded as a massive success. Businesses and the general public up and down the country joined together for the week-long event to enjoy the great tastes of British game.
The week is a collaboration between the BASC's Taste of Game campaign and our Game to Eat project, and the Countryside Alliance could not have been happier with the results.
Jack Knott of Game to Eat said: "This is our second year and Great British Game Week is going from strength to strength. It was extremely pleasing to see and hear of so many people taking part and making the most of what this country offers.
"Thank you to all those businesses that took part and offered deals and special process throughout the week. Your involvement is priceless and without it the week would not be possible. We also thank all those that reached out to friends and family to give them the opportunity of trying game for the first time.
"Breaking down the barriers, so wild game is recognised as an everyday, year-long, source of meat is paramount to the Game to Eat campaign's success."
