The Countryside Alliance is delighted that Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal came to watch the display 'A Year in a Life of a Grouse Moor' at the Great Yorkshire Show on Wednesday 11 July.
'A Year in the Life of a Grouse Moor', the popular returning display in the Country Pursuits Area at the Show, is organised by the Countryside Alliance with the help of the National Gamekeepers Organisation. Presented by John Cavana it explains the management processes, flora and fauna and individuals involved in the upkeep of these unique upland habitats, how important they are to remote rural economies, and how their careful management benefits a host of other bird species.
Countryside Alliance Director of Shooting Adrian Blackmore said: "We were delighted that The Princess Royal took the time to come and watch 'A Year in a Life of a Grouse Moor'".
