about this blogRead moreThis year, five brave supporters and one member of staff have signed up to run the Virgin Money London Marathon 2020 in aid of the Countryside Alliance Foundation.
With only a few months to go till the big day on 26th April they are in full flow with their training for the 26.2 mile run. Our runners have their JustGiving pages ready and any donations would be hugely appreicated. Please dig deep and show your support by sponsoring them below.

Is this your first marathon? I competed at the last ever Salisbury 54321 trail marathon last year
What makes you laugh the most? Watching people get a fright (is that bad)
Who is your hero? Jessica Ennis-Hill
What would be your last supper? Tuna, pasta, mayo with sweetcorn and spinach (my favourite bulk meal)

London marathon time aim: Survival and not being swept up by the sweeping team
Is this your first marathon? This will be my 4th London Marathon
What makes you laugh the most? That I think I can do another marathon in my knackered state
Who is your hero? Anyone who has done the London in sub 4
What would your last supper be? A cold smoked trout by Graham Purbrick (New Forest) that I had caught. Served with whole grain toast and prehaps some cracking Dorset cheese and oatcakes... maybe a tincture of cake?

What makes you laugh the most? Being tickled, meeting up with old friends talking about funny times in the past
Who is your hero? In terms of my everyday hobbies it would have to be the one and only John Whitaker the Olympic horse rider. In terms of running it could only ever be Mo Farah because let's be honest who doesn't aspire to be like him?
What would your last supper be? It would probably be… Starter: Smoked Salmon and white buttered bread, Main: Spagetti bolognase and garlic bread, Pudding: ice cream with all the toppings

London Marathon time aim: I would be over the moon with anytime around 5 hours 30 mintues
Is this your first marathon? Yes, this is my first marathon! I am definitely not a natural runner
Why did you choose to run for the Countryside Alliance Foundation? I think it is really important to edcuate people about the countryside and fight as a community for causes

Is this your first marathon? I have ran a number of marathons including Brighton and Edingburgh
Why did you choose to run for the Countryside Alliance foundation? The reason I chose to run for the Countryside Alliance Foundation was that having grown up in the countryside I have seen the great opportunities it can offer. Combine this with the great work the foundation does and I think you have something that offers real change to people.
