Jim Barrington blogs on the public's view of hunting

Written by Countryside Alliance | 16 March 2015

In "Is the public really so anti-hunting?" our animal welfare consultant Jim Barrington writes about his ongoing round of debates at school and colleges and finds that attitudes are more open minded than our opponents would have us believe. Jim writes: "The fact is, most people are reasonable and when a sensible case for wildlife management is made, and how hunting with scenting hounds plays a crucial part in that process, they get it…and that's what really touches a raw nerve with the anti –hunt groups."
