The Countryside Alliance's annual Countryside Clean Up is back, and we have been encouraging everyone who loves the countryside to take part and do their bit, stirring up support from hunting and shooting communities as well. This year, the event will be held between Friday 25th March and Sunday 10th April.
Litter is a perennial blight in our countryside. Whether it is fast food wrappers on our verges or fly-tipping in our gateways, there never seems to be a shortage of rubbish lying around. It affects every rural community up and down the country, which is why it is so important that everyone gets behind this initiative.
Our registration form for the Countryside Clean Up is now closed. If you have registered a litter pick, keep an eye out for your Organisers' Brief which we will be sending out shortly. If you haven't signed up for our Countryside Clean Up but want to take part in your own litter pick, don't forget to send your pictures into us through Facebook or Instagram.
