A massive thank you is due to the six runners who took part in yesterday's Virgin Money London Marathon (23 April) in aid of The Countryside Alliance Foundation (TCAF).
This will fund many more school visits from out fishing and falconry instructors and pay for more women living with and recovering from breast cancer to take part in healing fishing retreats.
And you can still sponsor any of them through their JustGiving pages (just click on their names below).
Fastest round the course was 24-year-old gamekeeper Ed Carter, who set a blistering time to beat of 3hr 56mins. Next was surveyor Josh Woolley who finished in 4hrs 26mins.
Yorkshire farmer's wife Evelyn Armstrong completed her first marathon in 5hrs 04mins; as did Devon farmer Diana Stevens in 5hrs 29 mins.
Fishing 4 Schools Founder and director Charles Jardine, ran his third and final marathon in 5hrs 54mins and international racewalker Edmund Shillabeer – who is 77 – walked the course in 6hrs 5mins.
