Fishing 4 Schools' founder and director Charles Jardine has been announced as the runner-up Fishing Personality of the Year in the Fish and Fly 2016 Fly Fishing Industry Awards.
Fish and Fly asked fly anglers across its websites, forums and social media pages to nominate and then vote on their favourite fly fishing brands, gear, service providers and personalities in 16 different categories.
Charles was runner up to fly-tier and designer Davey McPhail in the Fishing Personality of the Year category.
Charles said: "I had no idea I'd even been nominated – or why! A big thank you to everyone who voted for me – I'm really touched. But the correct man won definitely!"
