The Scottish Countryside Alliance is now a board member of Country Sport Scotland.
Country Sport Scotland work tirelessly on promoting sporting tourism and are backed by a number of rural organisations. SCA will now play a part in ensuring that everything possible is done to ensure that sporting tourism in Scotland continues to thrive, and that local communities directly benefit.
Recently appointed Chairman, Dr. Simon Wright, has a background in policing and has also (amongst other things) successfully run a sporting agency and fishery management company.
Chloe Forbes, Country Sport Scotland Project Manager stated: "Scotland's sporting experiences are all uniquely memorable. But we can't forget about the vital, and often so underrated, contribution country sports tourism brings to Scotland's social, environment and economic life."
The work done so far, since Chloe took on the role last year, has been impressive to say the least. We look forward to working with, and supporting, CSS in the coming years.
