The Countryside Alliance will be joined by senior parliamentarians at the Liberal Democrats annual party conference later this month to discuss how Brexit can work for the countryside.
Senior MP, Alistair Carmichael, Phil Bennion and the Liberal Democrats only MEP, Catherine Bearder, will be on the panel, together with Countryside Alliance Chief Executive, Tim Bonner. The discussion will be chaired by Philip Clarke, Executive Editor of Farmers Weekly.
The Countryside Alliance's fringe event will be an opportunity to discuss what principles and priorities should underpin our approach to the negotiations, and how the Liberal Democrats can help to ensure that rural communities thrive outside the European Union.
The event is taking place on Monday 18 September from 18:15-19:15 in the Marriott Highcliff Hotel, Bournemouth.
More details about the event can be found on our party conference homepage.
