Sophie Wright

Chef and cookery book author with a love of British food. She created recipes for the Game-to-Eat recipe booklet in 2008 and loves game for its taste, versatility and health benefits.

At twenty Sophie was the UK's youngest head chef, running the kitchen one of Notting Hill's most famous celeb hangouts, BBB.

During her training at Westminster Kingsway College she regularly took part in national and international culinary competitions and is still a regular competitor. She left as both the highest achieving female chef and highest competition chef of the year. Sophie has now stacked up over 20 gold medals both nationally and internationally.

Sophie has appeared on Great Food Live, ITV, Daily Cooks and Food Poker on BBC2.

She has launched her own company Sophie Wright Catering, capitalising on her experience catering for private events both in the UK and Europe.

Her first book, Easy Peasy, won the Gourmand easy cookbook of the year award in 2008 and her second Home at 7, Dinner at 8 was released in March 2011.
