Tackling the digital divide

Slow broadband and poor mobile phone signal are serious issues for many people living and working in rural areas. In 2014 Anglian Farmers set up a steering group to address these problems. The group includes the Countryside Alliance and representatives from a wide range of other rural organisations and technology companies, all of whom recognise the need for rapid improvements.

This digital advice note brings together some simple tips, helpful advice and useful gadgets which may help to boost phone signal and offer alternatives to traditional broadband.
