In collaboration with talented artist Tania Still, the Countryside Alliance is thrilled to offer a unique opportunity to buy a limited-edition print of four different types of hounds, with proceeds supporting the Campaign for Hunting.
The distinctive print, which features foxhounds, beagles, harriers and a basset hound, also includes a silhouette of the Countryside Alliance's badge in commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the Liberty & Livelihood March which took place on 22nd September 2002.
Tania, a member and supporter of the Countryside Alliance, who concentrates on painting different breeds of horses, hounds and quarry species, painted the original in 2019 but only recently proposed this generous collaboration to support the Alliance's important campaigning work. The packs represented in the print include the Warwickshire Hunt, the Pendle Forest & Craven Harriers, the Ampleforth Beagles and the Leadon Vale Basset hounds.
"I am delighted to be donating the proceeds from this print to the Alliance for their dedication to protecting and promoting the rural way of life," explained Tania, who painted the original – named "Baily's" – in 2019. "The painting portrays four different types of hounds that hunt supporters want to be able to continue following across our countryside for generations to come."
Polly Portwin, Director of the Alliance's Campaign for Hunting enthused: "We are incredibly grateful to Tania for offering us this unique fundraising opportunity and hope that those who support hunting with hounds will show their appreciation for her generosity in support of the Campaign for Hunting. The Alliance remains dedicated to protecting and promoting the future of packs of hounds and with your support we can effectively tackle the many challenges facing hunting today."
The signed prints, which measure 51cm x 40cm, can be purchased here, directly from the artist's website at £300 plus P&P.
Tania has previously collaborated with other good causes, including the Hunt Staff Benefit Society and Racing Welfare.
