Come and see the Countryside Alliance this coming weekend at the Scottish Game Fair, which is once again being held at Scone Palace. We will be there for the full event, with a stall at GK1. Our Chief Executive, Tim Bonner, and the manager of our Campaign for Shooting, Sam Carlisle, will be present on the stand. It is the perfect chance to meet them face to face ask any questions regarding country sports, impending campaigns and the future shooting and hunting in Scotland. Refreshments, from soft drinks to wine, will be available for members.
Members are also invited to attend two important events. First is "Aim to Sustain: A Scottish Perspective", which details how the new game shooting coalition in England will work with their Scottish colleagues at RELM. Eoghan Cameron, chair of BASC and vice-chair of Aim to Sustain and Adam Smith, the chair of RELM will both be speaking. It will start at 4pm on Friday.
The next event follows on immediately afterwards and is the launch of a new 'Community Integrated Deer Management in Scotland' scheme that has been developed by BASC and other partner organisations, including the Scottish Countryside Alliance. It casts a new vision for Scottish deer management and in particular how local communities can be more closely involved. Both events are being held at the BASC stand.
We look forward to seeing you next weekend at what promises to be a wonderful Scottish Game Fair. Tickets are available to purchase here.
