This time next week we will know the winners of the Countryside Alliance Awards… wish them luck!

Next week will see the House of Lords host the 13^th Countryside Alliance Awards. This year's regional winners' are all truly exceptional, and that is not surprising considering the number of nominations received. The secret to the Rural Oscars' popularity is that they honour the people involved in these businesses and not just their produce or services. They exist to sing the praises of those who work hard to keep our rural communities and economy ticking, but don't seek the limelight. Our local produce is second to none and there are many community heroes and businesses worthy of national recognition. You can meet our winners here and download a copy of our Awards brochure here.

Many of you will have nominated these outstanding businesses so one final request from us. We would love to post good luck messages on our social media channels next week to those businesses who are in the running for the champion titles.
