Update on The Countryside Alliance meeting in Strasbourg this week

The Countryside Alliance, as part of FACE UK, and alongside BASC have been in Strasbourg this week meeting MEPs to discuss the challenges facing those who hunt, shoot and fish in the light of Brexit. Together with Ludwig Willnegger, Secretary General of FACE, a series of meetings with MEPs and officials were held where they discussed trade links with regard to the import of game chicks and eggs, seasonal workers and the European Firearms Pass which is important to shooters and hunters who make an important contribution to the rural economy. It has been a busy few days and we will give you a full report next week.
