Do you travel around the countryside as part of your day-to-day activities? Are you tech savvy? We're still on the lookout for volunteers to help record any instances of fly-tipping in the countryside.
The Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs is working with countryside organisations and tech company 'Fly Mapper' on a new project that improves the information available on fly-tipping in rural areas, but we need your help.
Using the 'FlyMapper App', volunteers will be able to record instances of fly-tipping on their smart phone whilst out and about, especially if any is seen on private land. A system built for capture, management and analysis of cases of fly-tipping, the FlyMapper App makes easy work for prospective volunteers.
If you're passionate about the impact that fly-tipping has on our countryside and want to help catch it on camera, you can register your interest by emailing [email protected]
