Enter now for your chance to win a shoot day for eight guns at this beautiful estate.
Highclere Castle is home to one of the finest shoots in the United Kingdom. Known throughout the world for its role in Downton Abbey, Highclere retains a magical air with the Castle set amid the spectacular sweeping parkland designed by landscape gardener Lancelot "Capability" Brown.
A day's shooting at Highclere is an extremely special experience for those lucky enough to be taking part, and we are incredibly grateful to the Earl and Countess of Carnarvon for so generously donating this 75-bird day for eight guns to the Countryside Alliance. All proceeds from the sale of tickets will go towards the work of the Campaign for Shooting.
The Highclere shoot is steeped in history. Laid out over the 5,000-acre estate, it incorporates stunning views over the rolling countryside of the North Hampshire Downs. Offering a mix of drives, the beautiful hanging woods and rolling downland produce birds that are challenging for even the most accomplished shots.
The shoot will take place on Wednesday 24 January 2024. On arrival, coffee will be available in the castle, with a mid-morning snack taken in the field. A traditional shoot lunch will be served in the Castle's magnificent, recently refurbished Racing Room.
Tickets for this very special day cost £40 each. The draw will close on Tuesday 20 December 2022 and the winning ticket will be drawn on Thursday 22 December 2022.
