Enter our exclusive new draw today for your chance to win a superb day’s grouse shooting for nine double guns on this beautiful Northumberland estate.
Situated at the North-Western end of the Pennines in the Upper Tyne Valle, the Knarsdale Estate is rightly regarded as being one of the premier grouse moors in the country. Extending to some 17,000 acres, there has been grouse shooting at Knarsdale since the 1800s, and the estate is impressive in the consistency of shooting that is offered to teams of guns.
Recognised for shooting that is exciting and challenging due to its high and varying topography, a day’s grouse shooting at Knarsdale is an extremely special experience for those lucky enough to be taking part, as availability is rare. We are incredibly grateful to the Knarsdale Estate for so generously donating this 100-brace day for nine double guns; a bag which, with the right conditions and team of guns, could be exceeded.
The shoot will take place in September or October 2024 on a date to be mutually agreed. Transport and loaders will be provided for the team on the day, as will coffee on arrival, lunch on the moor, and tea in the Lodge at the end of the day. The tipping of loaders and the Head Keeper will be the responsibility of individual guns. Luxurious accommodation can also be arranged by sperate arrangement in Knarsdale Hall, or alternatively in the nearby pub and rectory.
