Name: Robert Booth
Description: 'Deer amongst the Autumn leaves.' The image is of part of a herd of fallow deer that roam freely in the deer park in the grounds of Calke Abbey, Ticknall, Derbyshire. Calke Abbey is owned by the national trust and its deer park spans 67 acres of parkland. I was visiting Calke as it was the rutting season so I was looking to get some pictures of the red and fallow stags strutting their stuff. I spotted this small group of fallow deer in the distance and just loved how they blended in with the colours of the autumn leaves on the trees and just had to grab a few images.
A ginormous congratulations also goes to our runner-up, Laura Kolbach, for her fantastic photograph.
Name: Laura Kolbach
