With one month to go until the start of the grouse season on 12 August, the Countryside Alliance has sent a question and answer briefing note on grouse shooting to all MPs in Westminster.
The briefing note provides a factual response to the 10 most frequently raised issues about grouse shooting and its associated moorland management.
Despite the importance of grouse shooting there is often a lot of misunderstanding about it and we hope this briefing note will be of use in responding to any concerns which may be raised with MPs over the summer.
The Countryside Alliance will continue to put forward the positive case for grouse shooting in politics and the media as the grouse season approaches.
